It has long been known intuitively that being in contact with nature has beneficial effects on our health. Keeping fit by engaging in physical activity protects us from disease & health issues, IT improves our sense of balance and therefore reduces the risk of falls while helping us to maintain our independence.
The practice of sport is part of a green commitment and both professionals and amateurs are invited to reduce the world of consumption/consumables by adopting reflexes of responsible management of resources used, whether energy or material.

A HEALTHY MIND IN A HEALTHY BODY!
We have all heard it before! This quote is often used in the field of sports, it means that to be well in body and mind, we must cultivate our moral and physical strength. A very nice precept to follow on a daily basis, but isn't its efficiency diminished if we evolve in a non-green environment?
According to the research of neurobiologist, the fact of carrying out a physical effort will enable the "reward circuit" to be activated, in particular thanks to the release of endorphins, better known as happiness hormones. Simply put, if this area of the brain is stimulated, it is able to promote a good mood, a feeling of well-being and even reduce stress. Anyone who has ever worked in her/his garden, cultivated the land or harvested a crop knows that this requires vigor and dynamism!
A green environment favors serenity and encourages decisions and actions that are good for your health and morale, and therefore a good mood and a positive attitude.

Outdoor activities are invigorating and refreshing
Being in the open air alone or with friends is an enjoyment that is not devoid of green qualities.
In fact, exercising outdoors can be a great way to reduce the footprint of our way of living and to use the natural environment as a good alternative to sportive equipment made of iron or synthetic materials.
- A tree trunk, fallen during the last storm, could become a barrier for crossing
- Every pit in the ground would be considered as a clearance obstacle!
- Every branch at man's height could become a high bar for pull-ups
- Every gap between two trees would be considered a finish line!
Creativity and assimilation of its direct environment will create a green approach and will generate a consequent energy saving of so many resources, be it lighting, or heating and sports equipment itself.
Greener Green encourages the use of wilderness trails whenever you are given the opportunity to do so.

1.4 LINK BETWEEN POLLUTION & DISEASES / Healthy Lifestyle

It is now proven by numerous studies that there is a direct link between the pollution of a city region and the health of its inhabitants.
Not only does pollution eliminate creatures that are beneficial to a good human/animal cohabitation (e.g. bees) but it seems that pollution increases
- insects harmful to human health.
- The pollution increases the percentage of typical pollution-related diseases, such as lung diseases and asthma, cancer or heart diseases.
This weakening would cause a multi-billion dollar blow to communities and affect the local economy with billions more to add to the negative balance sheet of pollution.
The answer is simple: adopt all the green reflexes and adopt the concepts of healthy living.

1.5 MANAGE STRESS / Healthy Lifestyle

Nowadays stress is the cause of many illnesses. It is a source of discomfort and greatly influences one's attitude and behavior!
What is important to note is that stress could find its starting point in our eating habits. This is why a healthy and balanced diet is a guarantee of stress reduction and its inconveniences.
For the record, the hippos yawn frequently because of their food mode not adapted to their organism because of the grass that these animals have among other foods whereas they do not digest it well and it generates stress.
A diet with too much or too little energy/fat/sugar, or a diet that is not adapted to own needs, leads to stress. A stress that many people solve with drugs or expensive by-products, which in turn leads to health problems.
all these factors are contrary to responsible resource management and lead to the use of non-green substances.
