Welcome to the Digiskill Retail course!

(Module introduction)
Unit 2.1: Marketing
Advertising is part of a company's communication policy. Customers need to know what services the retail company can offer them. Advertising is communication with the customer in order to provide information, cultivate a company's own image, create incentives to buy and build trust. This is why the consultation cannot be missing here.
Moreover today's customers expect salespeople to provide personalised, needs-based advice and solutions to their problems as well as a clearly tailored, benefit-oriented presentation. In order to advise customers in line with their needs, sales staff must be able to recognise the latest trends in retail and apply sales techniques
In this learning unit we will deal with the topic of marketing and communication between customers and sellers.
