The "New Trends in Retail" e-learning course is the core Result of the project RETRAIL and it aims at employees of the retail sector. It is module based and revolves around the successful implementation of methods and tools that aim at increasing both digital and on sight sales.


Objectives

  • To provide to retail employees the opportunity to fill the knowledge gap between the evergoing technological revolution and the changing habits and behavior of the consumer audience.  

  • To provide retail employees with the versatility of switching from a digital to a physical work environment and vice versa, a qualification that is highly demanded and required nowadays due to the negative effects of the COVID 19 pandemic 

  • For the retail employees to remain effective both when their company is open as well as when it functions exclusively online due to hygienic restrictions. 

  • To provide targeted and updated knowledge and know how to retail employees for the most useful and effective digital methods and tools while at the same time it will update their skillset regarding onsite sales.


Learning Outcomes

By completing the full training course, the learners will have increased their knowledge, skills and competencies regarding the digitalization of retail methods. They will be able to reinforce their impact and sales approach in a store/company by developing new approaches towards retail as well as implement innovative digitally augmented methods.
